This curriculum discusses the importance of home safety fire prevention for young parents or  elders. Depending on the audience, you will be able to tailor the discussions for each topic area. Below are curriculums of two different lengths for you to utilize.

Short curriculum
Long curriculum
This curriculum can be used when you have limited time to engage participating families in their home about fire safety prevention. The curriculum contains information on the importance of home safety fire prevention, including information on general fire prevention, the importance of smoke alarms and fire escape planning.
The long curriculum should be used when possible, and when you have more time to engage with participating families in their home about fire safety prevention. This curriculum provides more in-depth information on fire safety. In addition to the topics covered in the short curriculum, this curriculum includes information on cooking and heating safety, sleeping areas and fire extinguishers.
